Unblending Beads are a simple tactile grounding tool designed to help you slow down, create a little space, and return to yourself with more steadiness and compassion.

They are not just beads.

They are a portable pause practice.

A grounding ritual.

A companion for everyday inner work.

Inspired by Internal Family Systems, they offer a simple way to notice who’s here inside you without judgment — and to reconnect with a more grounded, Self-led presence.

Choose Your Beads

A simple way to return to yourself

It’s easy to get swept up in anxiety, overwhelm, reactivity, or inner chaos.

You may find yourself:

  • overthinking
  • reacting quickly
  • feeling emotionally flooded
  • getting pulled into anxiety or shutdown
  • judging yourself for how you’re feeling
  • losing touch with the steadier place inside you

The beads are designed to offer a compassionate interruption.

Not a magic fix.

Not a way to get rid of your feelings.

Not a way to fight your parts.

Just a simple, embodied way to pause and relate to your inner world differently.

The Practice

The Unblending Beads are built around a simple four-part rhythm:

I’m here.

Who’s here?

How do I feel toward who/what’s here?

I can be with who/what’s here.

Each bead becomes a tactile invitation to move through that rhythm slowly, with your hands as well as your attention.

That’s part of what makes the practice so helpful.

It gives your body something gentle to do while your inner world settles.

And it turns an inner practice into something simple, grounded, and usable in everyday life.

These beads are inspired by prayer beads in many different cultures — especially the Anglican tradition — and created through an IFS-inspired lens.

What they help with

The beads can be a gentle support when you’re experiencing:

  • emotional overwhelm
  • anxiety
  • reactivity
  • inner chaos
  • over-identification with parts
  • shame after reacting
  • nervous system overload
  • difficulty slowing down
  • the longing to reconnect with Self in real life

You do not need perfect calm to begin.

A drop of Self is enough.

They are simple enough for beginners.

And deep enough to keep growing with.

More than an object

The Unblending Beads are not about fixing yourself.

They are about learning to stay with yourself.

To slow down.

To notice what is here.

To remember that all parts are welcome.

To return, again and again, to a steadier place inside.

Something you can hold onto when you forget yourself.

You do not need perfect calm to begin.

Just a little willingness to pause.
